Job Summary

Responsible for taking ownership and driving functional and technical changes and maintaining Salesforce. The role requires both technical expertise and a deep understanding of business processes. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, design, and configure the system ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements related to Salesforce implementation.
  • System Design and Configuration: Design and configure Salesforce solutions based on identified business requirements, leveraging declarative tools and customization. Ability to configure Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, Public Groups etc. Creation of new Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Page layouts, Lookup relationships etc. Configure approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
  • Custom Development: Lead custom development efforts (building complex workflows, lightning app building, customize experience cloud, configure/create notifications), ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • Data Management: Understand data flow, structure, and mapping. Ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • User Training and Support: Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce within the organization.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the use of Salesforce in various business processes.
  • Stay Informed: Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities.
